After 1920, the only records found were several voter registrations for a Miss Dorothy Elizabeth Williams in Sonoma, California, occupation bookkeeper. In 1940, there is one census record for a Dorothy H, born 1907, NY, occupation seamstress but it seems unlikely that these are the same person given the difference in birthdate, occupation and location around 1840. Therefore, until other records may be found, it is very likely, but not proven, that this Dorothy Elizabeth Williams did die unmarried, at age 100 in California.
