Foster, Martha “mattie”

Census records show a Martha born in 1877 and included in the 1880 but not 1900 census records. No marriage or other records were found after 1880 except a Mattie Foster, buried in 1881 near where her parents were later buried. The 1900 census also lists 10 children born and 5 living, which are all accounted for. It is therefore assumed that Martha and Mattie are the same person, or that if they were two different children, both had died prior to 1900.
