Despite nameing three sons in the 1883 history of Armstrong Co., on the 1840 census page for Reuben Sr., there is a Thomas, of the same age as Ruben Jr., younger than David and older than George, also on the same page. Presumably, Thomas was also a son, as there are no other Burfords shown. In the 1810 census, there are 4 boys under 10 and no young girls.

The Reuben you mention was born in 1772 and died 5 Oct 1852. I have a copy of his will. All I know of Jemimah is that she married in 1834 a Crawford and is one of the first members of the Crisswell Methodist church.
